Homecoming

There's nothing better than being home and sleeping in my own bed (with two little feet poking me in the stomach!). We arrived home yesterday morning after 2 domestic flights. What a letdown after flying deluxe class on EVA. International travel is SO nice. Luckily, Aiden slept on the whole flight from LA to Chicago AND Chicago to home. We were greeted by my dad and some very special friends.

The jetlag is taking its toll- we slept from 2 to 9:30 pm yesterday and then from 1:30 to 6:30 this morning. Not too bad, but I am still tired. In Vietnam, Aiden was getting up every 2 hours to eat 2 ounces. Last night was a little better (or I was so exhausted I didn't notice). I think Aiden got up two or three times each time we slept. Hopefully we can get on a schedule soon. Unfortunately, I think we are both getting colds. Poor Aiden is sleeping in the swing right now. He has gone 5 hours without a bottle- a new record, but he is miserable and can barely breathe :(. Hopefully I will have a healthy update soon!

So nice to see your little guy in America!

Now, what size is that gymboree monkey outfit? Little Benjaminh has the same outfit and is going to be a similar age while I'm over in VN and I'm wondering if he might swim in the 6-12 month size.

How much did your fellow weigh at his Visa medical?

What to pack, what to pack, what to pack...

What a special welcome home!

That jet lag is tough! Mostly because you can't explain to the babies why you want them to sleep so long in the middle of the afternoon (VN time). It took us about a week to get Caroline adjusted. Hopefully it will happen for Aiden very soon!
